Round 2: Santa Pod Raceway, 23-26 May

Marc Meihuizen secured maximum qualifying points before rain washed out eliminations for the second consecutive race.

Meihuizen’s 5.981sec/241.25mph pass was good for pole position in the 16-car field, followed closely by Michael Gullqvist at 5.990/240.31.

Mats Eriksson’s ’56 Ford Crown Victoria was the only casualty, damaged after hitting the wall in the opening session. Fourth qualifier Robert Joosten leads the points after his low-qualifying finish at Easter’s rained-off round one.
