Round 3: Glan Y Gors, 24-25 May

Henry Easthope triumphed again in the first of two finals at Glan Y Gors, with Sam Webster winning the second.

Easthope outpaced fellow heat winner Denis Gorman at the start of the first final but had to concede the lead to a fast starting Will Van Es.Van Es eventually faded and Easthope calmly pulled away to score an impressive win.

Webster continued his inspired form in a wet second final, dispatching both Easthope and leader Van Es and romping away to a 10-second victory. Easthope held off Scott Allen for second place, with Gorman fourth after an unlucky Van Es was tapped into retirement.
