Africa Eco Race Update

END OF THE PREFERENTIAL RATES

The count-down has started to the end of preferential rates on June 30th 2014. Registrations are already arriving and show an international growth of AFRICA ECO RACE as a car team from United Arab Emirates and a biker from England will be part of the adventure for the next edition. In order to continue in that way,

René METGE which just got back from his first recos in Morocco, these are his first impressions:

«As we do each year, we put every effort for the road book to be as clear as possible. We worked on the first stage which is always difficult to organize. Indeed it depends of the arrival time of the boat according to the sea, customs etc… I don’t want to give too much out but here is what is planned for the participants at their arrival in Morocco: a short liaison and a stage which will be interesting in terms of navigation on a large rocky track, with clear visibility but slightly hilly and nice steppe with little farms around. No high speeds are planned. A liaison towards the first bivouac passing the magnificent region of Ifrane.»

EVER MORE MEDIA COVERAGE

eurosportIn 2014, the TV coverage of the AFRICA ECO RACE had already taken a bit leap in this area thanks to the broadcasting contract with EUROSPORT INTERNATIONAL. In brief, this was 70 million people throughout the world who saw the various programs, generic topics and advertising spots.

motorstvOn top of this, MOTORS TV rebroadcasted various programs and other channels also widely broadcasted the event.

For 2015, the organization works very hard for the event to be even better and to ensure a representative media impact for the participants. Case to be followed…
