International auctioneers Coys have broken two world records at auction when they sold a 1931 Indian 1300 for £90,000 and a 1953 Mondial 125 Monoalbero for £60,000 on the afternoon of July 11th at Blenheim Palace in the UK.

Chris Routledge, Managing Partner at Coys, said: “We are back in the international collector motorcycle market, setting two world records and selling motorcycles to all four corners of the world, including some household name celebrity buyers. I’m really excited about our return to motorcycles and we have now secured a fantastic single owner collection for auction in autumn.”

The Blenheim Palace auction continues today, Saturday 12th July, with the classic car sale at 3pm and a celebration party for the 350th anniversary of the Royal Marines.

The sale will see over 90 classic cars going under the hammer, featuring an Aston Martin DB 2/4, considered as the inspiration for James Bond’s original Aston Martin in Ian Fleming’s novel Goldfinger.
