Concurso de Elegancia Costa del Sol establishes itself as Southern Europe’s most exclusive automotive gathering for collectors
The Concurso de Elegancia Costa del Sol celebrates its second edition under the new direction of CAVËN and the leadership of the Piëch family, making a new era at the level of the world’s leading concours events.
More than 250 international collectors will gather in Marbella and the Costa del Sol alongside a curated selection of over 100 hypercars, classics, competition cars and restomods from the world’s most prestigious automotive marques.
With Bugatti as Main Partner and a programme of unique experiences, the event elevates the celebration of the automobile to an international level, combining exceptional vehicles, driving experiences and the sophisticated Mediterranean lifestyle.
The Concurso de Elegancia Costa del Sol will celebrate its second edition in 2026, marking a new chapter following CAVËN’s involvement as the driving force behind the event and under the leadership of the Piëch family. From 1 to 4 October, Marbella and the Costa del Sol will once again become the meeting point for some of the world’s most prestigious collectors, bringing together a private selection of outstanding hypercars, valuable classics and unique creations.
This new chapter aims to position the Concurso de Elegancia Costa del Sol among the leading international automotive concours events, following the path established by the world’s most renowned gatherings and combining exceptional vehicles, design, engineering and the Mediterranean lifestyle.
The 2026 edition will bring together more than 250 international collectors from Europe, the United States and the Middle East as part of a private experience reserved for invited guests and owners who share a passion for the most extraordinary automobiles in the world.
A private gathering of automotive masterpieces
The Concurso de Elegancia Costa del Sol is reserved for a carefully selected collection of vehicles representing the finest of automotive history and the future of the automobile: from historic classics to the latest-generation hypercars and limited-production restomods.
Participants will compete across different categories celebrating automotive excellence: Hypercars (2000–2026), Restomods, Vintage Supercars (1980s and 1990s), Pre-War Classics (1900–1939), Post-War Classics (1945–1979) and Motorsport, alongside the event’s highest accolade, the Best of Concours.
The 2026 edition will once again feature Bugatti as Main Partner, demonstrating the confidence of one of the world’s most prestigious marques in the Concurso de Elegancia Costa del Sol as a reference event for the most distinctive automotive creations. The French marque will return to this unique gathering alongside other leading design houses and brands connected to the automotive world, presenting a selection of exceptional vehicles, including one-off creations never before showcased at a concours.
In addition, the event will be supported by partners including Bombardier Jets, Drumelia Real Estate, IXO Carbon and 180 Studios, companies that share the event’s vision of exclusivity, innovation and a lifestyle built around excellence.
An international jury celebrating the finest automotive creations
The 2026 edition of the Concurso de Elegancia Costa del Sol will feature a jury made up of 24 leading figures from the worlds of automotive design, restoration and collecting, forming one of the most comprehensive panels of experts on the international concours scene.
Among its members are designers responsible for some of the most recognisable automobiles of recent decades, including Fabrizio Giugiaro (Italdesign) and Carlo Bonzanigo (former Pininfarina designer); leading figures from major international concours events such as Vince Finaldi, President of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance; and experts linked to prestigious institutions and brands, including Ken Gross, former Director of the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, Nigel Matthews, Global Brand Ambassador for Hagerty, Gabriele Lalli, Manager of Ferrari Classiche, and Chris Kramer, a world-renowned expert and judge of international competitions on four continents.
The jury also brings together renowned restorers, collectors, automotive historians and professionals with extensive experience at the world’s most prestigious concours events. They will evaluate the participating vehicles according to criteria including design, history, engineering, uniqueness and significance within the world of collectible automobiles.
From automotive masterpieces to a complete experience
The Concurso de Elegancia Costa del Sol goes beyond the traditional concept of a vehicle exhibition to become a private automotive experience. Over four days, participants will enjoy a programme designed to combine driving, exclusivity, world-class gastronomy and unique experiences. Among the activities planned is a private track day at Ascari Club Circuit, where owners will be able to experience the performance of their vehicles in an environment specifically designed for driving.
In addition, the 2026 edition will introduce an unprecedented experience at Gibraltar Airport, which will be closed exclusively for the occasion. Some of the world’s most powerful vehicles will be able to demonstrate their performance in an exceptional location and within a format reserved exclusively for participants of the event.
Marbella and the Costa del Sol, a prestigious setting for luxury automobiles
The new edition of the Concurso de Elegancia Costa del Sol will take place in a new seaside location, strengthening the connection between collectible automobiles and the lifestyle of the region.
The programme will culminate with a gala dinner and Awards Ceremony, where the finest creations of the event will be recognised according to the criteria of an international jury made up of experts from the worlds of design, engineering, restoration and the automotive industry.
