The third annual Kroger Super Weekend at the Brickyard will feature great NASCAR and TUDOR United SportsCar Championship series racing with four races in three days July 24-27 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The weekend will be headlined by the 21st annual Crown Royal Presents the John Wayne Walding 400 at the Brickyard Powered by BigMachineRecords.com on Sunday, July 27. The weekend schedule also features the Lilly Diabetes 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Saturday, July 26 on the IMS oval, and TUDOR United SportsCar Championship and Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge races on Friday, July 25 on the recently reconfigured IMS road course.
Race fans may also kick off the week by traveling to Eldora Speedway in New Weston, Ohio to watch the NCWTS race on Wednesday, July 23 (9 p.m., Fox Sports 1).
The Kroger Super Weekend at the Brickyard At A Glance:The Brickyard 400 is celebrating its 20th anniversary and has produced many memorable moments, including Jeff Gordon's inaugural win at IMS in 1994.
Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson - each with four Brickyard 400 wins - will look to make history by becoming the first driver to win five Brickyard 400s and tying Formula One superstar Michael Schumacher - winner of five United States Grand Prix races at IMS - for the most wins ever as a driver at the "Racing Capital of the World."
2000 Indianapolis 500 winner Juan Pablo Montoya - who placed fifth in May at the 98th running of the Indianapolis 500 - will look to become the first driver ever to win the Indianapolis 500 and the Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
A victory for Montoya on July 27 would give Team Penske owner Roger Penske his first Brickyard 400 win. As a team owner Penske has earned 15 Indianapolis 500 victories, with his most recent IMS win occurring in 2012 when Brad Keselowski crossed the finish line first at the inaugural Indy 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race.
Kurt Busch makes his return to IMS just two months since he finished sixth in the 2014 Indianapolis 500 en route to being named the event's Sunoco Rookie of the Year.
Three of the last four Indianapolis winners (Ryan Newman, Paul Menard and Jamie McMurray) and several other prominent drivers are still seeking their first NSCS victory of the season. With only six regular season races remaining, the winner of the Brickyard may be able to punch his or her ticket into the NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup.

The TUDOR United SportsCar Championship makes its first visit to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway - and its new road-course layout - on July 25. While the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series and its Daytona Prototype and GT teams previously competed at the Brickyard in 2012 and 2013, this will be the first visit for former American Le Mans Series P2, Prototype Challenge and factory-supported GT teams.
2014 Indianapolis 500 starters Jack Hawksworth, Martin Plowman and Townsend Bell will compete on the IMS road course on Friday, July 25.
ESPN will be making its NASCAR network debut and will carry the final 17 races of the NSCS season, including the 10-race Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup and final 15 NNS events.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony, held on July 1, marked the opening of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Solar Farm located adjacent to the backstretch of the famed IMS 2.5-mile oval. The facility, billed as the largest solar power farm at any sporting venue in the world, is built on 68 acres and features 39,314 solar panels that can power the equivalent of 2,700 homes. The initiative dovetails with the NASCAR Green, which boasts the three largest green programs in sports: renewable energy, recycling and clean air. With its debut, the Indy facility joins similar solar farms at Pocono Raceway and Sonoma Raceway, which also host the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.***

General admission tickets will cost $10 for Thursday, July 24, $30 for Friday, July 25, $25 for Saturday, July 26 and $30 for Sunday, July 27. A four-day Kroger Super Weekend general admission ticket is $82, a great value for the ultimate race weekend. A three-day general admission ticket (Thursday-Saturday) is $62.
Children ages 12 and under will be admitted free any of the four days of the Super Weekend at the Brickyard when accompanied by an adult with a general admission ticket.
Reserved Seats are also available on Saturday and Sunday. Prices start at $41 and include full general admission access.
