Reigning GT Cup Champion Jeff Wyatt will join the Avon Tyres British GT Championship, partnering Declan Jones in the #45 BMW M3 GT4 which will now be prepared by renowned BMW specialists, Geoff Steel Racing, for the final two rounds of the 2014 season.

Wyatt will join Jones for the Brands Hatch outing on August 30-31 and Donington for September 13-14 with the combination evaluating a full-scale attack on the 2015 season.

I’ve known Geoff Steel Racing for a long time and their abilities in preparing BMWs are legendary. Our standards are high and we’re going for the class win. I think myself and Declan, combined with the M3 and team make for a strong combination, despite a quality field around us.”

Declan Jones, #45 Geoff Steel/Declan Jones BMW M3 GT4:“The season certainly hasn’t gone the way we’ve wanted so far, so having a driver of the experience of Jeff join us with Geoff Steel Racing coming on board is a real bonus for us. There’s a lot of potential in the car and with Jeff and Geoff we should really be able to make the most of it. I’m looking forward to getting back out in action. Brands is a real driver’s track, it’s my second favourite of the season after Oulton Park so I’m ready to push all the way.”
