SWR Caterham F1 Driver Development Confirms SP Tools Partnership

Chipping Norton motor racing squad SWR Caterham F1 Driver Development Programme Team is delighted to confirm a long-term partnership with leading Australian brand SP Tools in the BRDC Formula 4 Championship, it is announced today.For almost four decades, SP Tools has been at the forefront of the design and manufacture of a wide range of hand tools, air tools and power tools and specialises in the production of automotive and garage equipment, as well as associated products.As an exclusive partner to Sean Walkinshaw owned SWR, supplying tools and equipment for the single-seater squad which yesterday became an official driver development arm of the Caterham F1 Team, SP Tools is building on a successful partnership with Walkinshaw Performance in Australia.Already a key partner in the V8 Supercars Championship to the factory Holden Racing Team, which is headed-up by Sean’s older brother Ryan Walkinshaw, SP Tools is now bringing its ‘Manufactured for the Professional’ philosophy into BRDC F4 with SWR.“It’s been quite a week already for the SWR Caterham F1 Driver Development Programme Team”, said SWR owner Sean Walkinshaw, “Hot on the heels of the Caterham F1 announcement, we’re absolutely delighted to confirm our partnership with SP Tools.
