Pipo will drive the Murphy Prototypes ORECA-Nissan 03R, having conducted a successful test in late August, at Snetterton in the UK.

"I am very happy with this chance to meet a new category and I would like to thank Greg (Murphy) and Hertz Car Sales, sponsor of the team for this opportunity," said Derani.

"Pipo did a great job at Snetterton. He was quick and is at a good age, mature, and can have a bright future in Sportscars," said Greg Murphy, Team Principal of Murphy Prototypes. "He will be with us at Paul Ricard and I hope he can continue with us for Estoril (in October) and in 2015," he added.

"There is a possibility to continue next year, but initially I'm thinking only in this first step," said the young Brazilian driver, who has won British Formula 3 races and has several podiums under his belt, added to his podium in the traditional Macau Formula 3 GP last year.
