Vampires Rock Motul Nationals Yearly Round Up 2014

It has been a roller coaster year for Vampires Rock Motul Motocross team but the team have achieved some great results. Not all the championships they were entered in went to plan with the ACU British Youth National switching a date to the middle of August two of the riders had to miss this due to prior family commitments.

This left the riders competing in the GT Cup and also the Off Road Motorsport Nationals, 'ORMS'. Jack Grayshon on board the KTM 65 showed real skill and determination throughout the season and was looking set for a top three in the British Youth Nationals Junior Class and also the GT Cup but was forced to miss out due to the date change. He still managed to qualify for the World Junior Championships in Belgium and gave it his best shot. Only nine years old at the time the pressure got to Jack and he was unable to qualify for the main event, just missing out by two places. Jack has shown maturity this year and we are very sure he will be back there next year fighting hard, he will remain in the 65 class for 2015.

Ozzie Murray also showed massive improvement throughout the year but also suffered from the BYN date change. Never-the- less Ozzie took a win in the French Master Kids Silver Final in Commerce in France and a fourth overall in the ORMS Nationals. Ozzie has shown he has what it takes to win races and we expect 2015 will be a great year for the youngest member of the team. Ozzie will also be staying on the KTM 65 for 2015 championships.

Jordan Hearn on board the KTM BW 85 was in good form all year, for his first year riding in big wheel 85 class Jordan rode consistently all year and took a 5th overall in the GT Cup and a podium finish in 3rd at the ORMS Nationals, Jordan will also be staying on the BW 85 for the 2015 championships.

Team Manager Steve Steinman - "I would just like to thank everyone who helped the team this year I really appreciate all the help we received. The boys couldn't manage to race in so many nationals without your generosity and help and they would like to also say a massive thank you. We are now concentrating on some winter championships and we look forward to working with you all again in 2015.

Special thanks to Richard at Motul for his massive input into the team and we look forward to working with Motul and all our other sponsors for next year."
