with RIDE24 fundraising effortHaving hosted the fast and furious British Superbike Championship last month, Thruxton Circuit will again welcome two-wheeled racers this weekend (6/7 September), as Action RIDE24 cycles the track day-and-night to raise funds for vital medical research for sick babies and children.With the popular event now in its fifth successful year, some 180 riders will take to the high-speed 2.4-mile Hampshire venue for a spectacular thigh-busting, stamina-draining, 24-hour non-stop pedal power relay.The race will be composed of solo endurance riders and team entries covering a wide variety of cycling experience and proficiency. The team completing the most laps will be crowned RIDE24 team winners, in addition to earning the opportunity to represent Action Medical Research at Europe’s biggest 24-hour track race – the Bugatti Le Mans 24-Hour Velo Race in August, 2015.
