MSA British Sporting Trials Championship

Round 15: Roy Fedden Trial, 9 November

John Fack regained the championship lead by winning the historic Roy Fedden Trial – dating back to 1935 – ahead of Ian Wright and Peter McKinney.

Roland Uglow led from the start and held a two-point lead over Fack but within three hills after lunch had slipped to fifth overall. Fack was one of only two competitors to master hill two, passing the four post and snatching the lead with just one hill remaining.

His subsequent win takes the championship battle to the final round in three weeks’ time. Wright finished second overall on a tie-break from McKinney, who won the intermediate class. Steve Courts was the top live axle competitor and Mike Wevill won the novice class.
