GREAT Britain World Cup skipper Tai Woffinden will be appearing at the NEC in Birmingham next Monday as a special guest at the Motorcycle Live show.Woffinden, who finished fourth in the 2014 world championship following his title glory the previous year, will be on the main stage at 1pm as part of a ‘Question of Bikes’ feature.And then from 2pm ‘Woffy’ will be on the Metisse Stand where he will be signing autographs, talking to visitors and revealing more details about his plans for 2015 which include working with Metisse.Metisse Motorcycles spokesman Mark Taylor said: “We are looking forward to working with Tai and the priority is to do all we can to help him get that world title back.“We have a lot of exciting plans which Tai is equally excited about and we are determined to help him perform to maximum level at every opportunity.“He’s our guest on Monday at the NEC and fans and media are more than welcome to come along and join him.”

LAKESIDE will make an early start to the 2015 season with a special event on Friday March 20, the Remembering Rico Spring Classic.The meeting will be a 20-heat individual with a winner-takes-all Final dedicated to the memory of Lee Richardson, and will feature next season’s Hammers team with invitations to be sent to riders not racing in the UK.Lakeside co-promoter Jon Cook said: “We are honored that Emma Richardson has agreed to the Club staging this event as an annual season opener and we'll be determined to put on a meeting that is a fitting tribute to our fallen Captain and No.1.”
