WORKINGTON have confirmed the signing of Kenneth Hansen in a surprise move which sees the 27-year-old Dane return to his first British club.Hansen, who rode for Elite League runners-up Coventry this year, moves to the Comets in the Premier League for 2015 where he will team up with Mason Campton who was announced at the club’s end-of-season event.Manager Tony Jackson said: “I am delighted to welcome Kenneth back to Derwent Park as I regard him as ‘unfinished business’.“In my first season as a team manager, back in 2007, Kenneth was one of our first signings but, after a handful of matches he got injured and while he was out injured we re-introduced Carl Stonehewer to the side and the way the averages worked out we were unable to accommodate him on his return to fitness.

“That is something I have often hoped we could redress one day and now that opportunity has arisen, which is something I am pleased about not only on a personal level but also for Kenneth and the club.”
