Suzuki dominates Indoprix championship

Suzuki has clinched the Indonesian Indoprix 150cc Sport Class Championship following the final round at Balipat Circuit in Binuang and also claimed the first three positions in the series for the Suzuki Satria F150.

Suzuki Faito Evalube KTY rider Rafid Topan clinched the title with a race win and third position: In the opening 15-lap contest Topan caught the race leader and took the lead with four laps to go, setting his best time of 1:16.754 on his penultimate lap. In the second race, the newly-crowned champion suffered a technical issue but still managed to finish third.

Second overall in the five-round series went to Suzuki Nissin FDR KYT Chia Felix rider Ocvan Irfana, who finished 61 points behind following third and seventh positions at the event, while third overall in the series was taken by Harlan Fadhillah aboard his Nissin Pikoli R9 KYB Suzuki.

Final Indoprix Championship Points: 1 Rafid Topan (Suzuki) 161 points, 2 Ocvan Irfana (Suzuki) 100, 3 Harlan Fadhillah (Suzuki) 87, 4 Hendra Rusbule (Yamaha) 66, 5 Nico Julian (Suzuki) 52.
