It’s a big weekend of motorsport, guys. And we’re not talking about Le Mans. We’ve got plenty of other coverage for you on the High Speed Television Channel (although tune in to our Twitter account for top-drawer text commentary from Circuit de la Sarthe).
We’ll be bringing you daily highlights from round six of the FIA World Rally Championship. The main challenges at Rally Italia Sardegna are the fast, narrow roads and lots of sandy surfaces. Add to that the soaring temperatures in and around the Med and you’ve got yourself a very entertaining rally! Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, as usual.
There’s more live action from the Italian Motorcycle Championship, which sees the cream of Italy’s biking crop battle it out in their quest to follow in the footsteps of their fellow Italian superstars. This time they’re gracing Mugello, the very same track that played host to the Italian MotoGP round only last month.
The Renault Sport Trophy is an all-new one-make series from the French giant that offers Pro-Am pairings the opportunity to work their way up to the upper echelons of GT and endurance racing. We’ve got delayed-as-live coverage of the championship, which this time supports the single-seater World Series by Renault races at the Hungaroring.
And there’s more live coverage from Italy with the FIM MXGP. It’s round nine of 19 so the championship competition ramps up as the riders try and get as many points in the bag as possible. As it stands, Max Nagl holds a 19-point advantage in the premier class over defending title-holder Antonio Cairoli, while last-year’s runner up, Jeffrey Herlings, has a healthy lead in the MX2 standings.
We’re also bringing you some wheel-to-wheel GT action from the Red Bull Ring with ADAC GT Masters, the ultimate endurance series for two wheels with the FIM Enduro World Championship and the FIM Supermoto World Championship.
