Car Show TV to Produce Programming From The Stuttgart Cup and Mission Foods GT3 Cup Trophy Race

Pilot Programming on Car Show TV Intended To Pave the Way for Future Stuttgart Cup and Mission Foods GT3 Coverage

Americas GT Cup L.L.C. and Car Show TV (CST) announced today that The Stuttgart Cup™ and Mission Foods GT3 Cup Trophy USA competition from next weekend’s event at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course will be featured in programming on the growing online and syndicated network.

In a first-step pilot program from Mid-Ohio, The Stuttgart Cup™ and Mission Foods GT3 Cup action, which is part of the SVRA Mid-Ohio Vintage Grand Prix, will be available in a 30-minute program on CAR Show TV in the weeks following the race.

“We have seen solid growth and interest in The Stuttgart Cup™ and Mission Foods GT3 Cup Trophy USA over the past two years,” said Ken Fengler, Americas GT Cup L.L.C. General Manager. “We have been looking for a way to broaden the reach of our racing series to fans and potential competitors, and Car Show TV is the perfect medium to help us increase our exposure and promote our marketing partners. We look forward to our first project together with Car Show TV at Mid-Ohio, and we are grateful to the SVRA for their cooperation in allowing this to happen on their race weekend.”

Beginning July 20th, coverage of The Stuttgart Cup™ and Mission Foods GT3 Cup will air on Car Show Television's On Demand channel, which is available on Roku, Amazon Fire TV and www.CarShowTV.com. It will air in South Florida, Tampa, and Boston on the Auto Channel, and other locations throughout the country on Untamed Sports TV. Check your local listings or www.CarShowTV.com for complete listings.

"Car Show TV is delighted to be partners with the Stuttgart Cup and Mission Foods GT3 Cup because these series align perfectly with our brand of programming,” said Andrew McClary, CST Founder, Executive Producer and Editor-and-Chief. “Adding these racing series to our lineup is inevitably the most exciting part to our network's growth. We know that many of our fans and followers own similar cars, so the chance for everyone to actually see them on the track will be an amazing experience for all of our viewers."

Car Show TV was started in 2013 by McClary and fellow automotive fan and enthusiast, Alex Berry, who have been in television and internet entertainment for over 20 years, working with major brands and networks. Launching with local coverage, Car Show Television started by building an audience of dedicated fans by covering major car shows in Florida and airing in South Florida on The Auto Channel. The online and national syndication quickly followed, and CST is considered one of the fastest growing automotive enthusiast channels available today.

The Mid-Ohio race weekend schedule features points-paying Friday and Saturday sprint races and a featured enduro on Sunday. Practice, qualifying and a Sunday warm-up session are also on a full schedule with ample track time. A Thursday test day, with four full on-track sessions is also scheduled.

The Stuttgart Cup™ and Mission Foods GT3 Cup official entry form for the Mid-Ohio event is available by clicking here. First time entrants are also eligible for a $500 entry discount through a program with series partner Bob Woodman Tires.

Round 6 of the 2015 Stuttgart Cup/Mission Foods GT3 Cup 10 event race schedule, the Mid-Ohio weekend is also the last chance for new competitors to get in on this year’s championship battles.

Mid-Ohio is the first of 2015’s final five races, which means even competitors making their first start of the season on the Buckeye road course can contend for their series championship if they compete in each of the year’s remaining events. The Stuttgart Cup™ and Mission Foods GT3 also have a unique team championship this year, which rewards competitors not for distance raced on the track but for total miles recorded traveling to each venue. The team championship points structure also rewards multiple car teams, offering an extra incentive to competitors around the country to literally “go the extra mile” to race in The Stuttgart Cup™ and Mission Foods GT3 Cup.
