On July 3 to 5 Italian squad will enter the fourth round of the international series with their crew, second in the overall standings, behind the wheel of the powerful Ferrari 458 GT3
Treviso (Italy), July 2, 2015.Scuderia Villorba Corse is ready to get back on track in the 2015 International GT Open. The next two races will be held over the weekend of July 5 in Austria at Red Bull Ring. Italian squad led by Raimondo Amadio will enter the fourth round of the series organized by the GT Sport of Jesus Pareja with their race drivers Alessandro Balzan and Nicola Benucci. Behind the wheel of their powerful Ferrari 458 GT3 the Villorba pair will face a particularly challenging round which represent the half-season mark of the championship, where, at the moment, Balzan and Benucci are second in the overall standings thanks to one win and three podium out of six races. Fourth GT Open round kicks off with two free practice sessions on Friday. First qualifying session is scheduled on Saturday at 11:15hrs while the 70-minute race-1 will start at 16:05hrs. Second qualifying session is on Sunday at 9:10hrs with race-2 (60 minutes) at 13:55hrs. Both races will be broadcasted live onwww.gtopen.net (clicking on WEB TV) and, live and/or deferred, on several international TV channels, pan-European Motors TV among others.
Raimondo Amadio, Team Principal, said: “After our consistent round at Silverstone the whole squad is ready and very motivated for the Red Bull Ring, where we will have a first summary of the season. I believe that, as shown by team and drivers so far, we can hope for a very competitive second half of the championship and, as usual, our goal remains to fight for the title”.
