Fans of American cars, bikes, music, motor racing, movies, and wrestling are being invited to take advantage of an early bird ticket offer for Cars and Stripes, the first American auto-festival at Rockingham on Summer Bank Holiday Monday.
Event organisers at the Northamptonshire venue have announced a 25% saving on the price of an adult entrance ticket, reduced from £19 to £15, for anyone who makes the ticket purchase before midnight on Monday, 13 July. Children aged 15 and under will be admitted free.
As an added bonus, the first 500 advance tickets purchased will qualify for membership of the Rockingham VIP Club, giving VIP privileges including access to a dedicated club lounge and discounts on food, drinks, and driving activities on the day.
Day tickets also allow access to entertainment at Rockingham the night before Cars and Stripes, which includes an American-style drive-in movie, barn bar, and live music from The Revolutionaires, a popular part of the UK and European Rockin’ circuit and Blues scene.
An action-packed day of family-friendly entertainment, Cars and Stripes will feature the inaugural Rockingham 100, a three-race competition for race-bred Pickup Trucks; pitroad walkabouts, autograph sessions, and Victory Lane celebrations open to the public; static and moving displays of American racing cars, muscle cars, hot rods, trucks, custom cars, and custom bikes; trade stands and an auto-jumble; live music; an aerobatics display; American wrestling; passenger rides in a NASCAR racer; driving experiences in American muscle cars; a mechanical rodeo bull; a drive-in movie; and more attractions to be announced nearer the time.
