William Dunlop Takes a Double at 'Race of the South'

Continuing on from his good form at the Diamond Jubilee Southern 100 International Road Races, Seamus Elliott took second in the Supersport race, plus a pair of seventh spots in the Open Championship and Grand Final promoting him into the top 10, in 10th up two rungs.

William Dunlop continued his recovery from his TT incident with a double victory at the 'Race of the South' Road Races held on the Walderstown Course,  Round 12a (13) of the Duke Road Race Rankings 2015.

William's two wins in the 600 Supersport Race and the Grand Final, plus a third place in the Open Championship Race moves him up one place in the Rankings table to third, behind current leader Ivan Lintin and current Duke champion James Cowton, neither of whom were in action at the Athlone, Co, Westmeath venue.

The two Derek's, Sheils and McGee enjoyed a win apiece in the Open Championship and SuperTwins Races. Sheils also gained a fourth in the 600 and a third in the Grand Final, resulting in a upwards movement of 13 places to 16th in the table.

Whilst McGee finished second behind his namesake in the Open Championship, third in the 600 and second in the Grand Final slotting him into fourth position up two.
