Rye House in Hertfordshire played host to Round 6 of the TW Steel DMAX Championship last Sunday, 19th July. 113 of the UK's fastest racers battled it out for precious points as the series moves into it's crucial second half of the year. Spectacular racing in Daytona's 80-mph Rotax Max Evo-powered karts ensured closer than close results in what undoubtedly is the UK's most competitive hire-kart championship.
In the Heavy Endurance category, David Vincent went home with plenty of silverware after taking his first double podium of the season. In the Lights Endurance category, Peterson Lim took his first podium of the season to continue the trend of different winners at each round. Other successes from the weekend include Joe Holmes who was back on the top step in Intermediate Endurance and Chris Alcock who took his very first TW Steel DMAX podium.
Daytona Motorsport would like to congratulate the following podium finishers and look forward to seeing all the drivers at Daytona Sandown Park in Esher on 16th August.
