More points for Ghiotto and Trident in GP3

The Budapest weekend ended with more points for Luca Ghiotto in Race 2 of the GP3 Series. Coming out of the Hungarian round of the championship, the Italian is still leading the series with an 23 point margin. On the other hand Janosz saw his chances for a good result disappear when he was hit by another car in the opening lap.27 - LUCA GHIOTTO

Ghiotto ended up the Sprint Race at Budapest with a valuable fifth place that enables him to leave Hungary still at the top of the driver championship. After starting in 8th position, the Aci Team Italia driver quickly improved his position and started chasing the leading pack. Unfortunately, the lack of passing opportunities typical of the venue prevented him from pushing even further. Luca and Trident are waiting for the next round of the Championship scheduled for late August at Spa in order to continue to defend their lead.

Unfortunately, the Sprint Race didn't end up well for Artur Janosz. At the start of the race, the Pole was pushed off-track by one of the cars he had behind and forced to retire. Janosz had an ill-fated weekend and didn't have the real chance to complete the great job done in practice. He's still climbing his learning curve tough and both him and the team will use the summer break to improve and line-up at Spa-Francorchamps even stronger.
