The 65th annual Gold Cup motorcycle road races at Oliver’s Mount has attracted, yet again, a bumper entry of all the star names who will be confirmed in the next 7 days once the official entries have closed.
This meeting once again has been over subscribed and it will take the club a week to sort through the entries to decide who is accepted and who will be disappointed.
Ticket sales are also at a high for the end of season road race meeting as the club has now sold out.
Today the organisers, the Auto 66 club, have released the official timetable for both practice and racing over the two days.
You will see there is an added bonus for both riders and spectators. As well as the big race of the weekend, the Gold Cup, you can see that the Cock O’ the North race is being run on the Saturday.
The Cock O’ the North was postponed from the July meeting due to circumstances out of the clubs control.
Everyone is looking forward to a bumper programme of racing both Saturday and Sunday.
