Make a date with Colin Edwards and Freddy Spencer at North Yorkshire Road Racing Supporters Club

The North Yorkshire Road Racing Supporters Club are delighted to confirm two major guests visiting them in the space of a couple of weeks.

In addition to the appearance of Freddie Spencer on September 9th (see details below) we can now confirm that Colin Edwards will be appearing on Wednesday, 26th August. Colin is over for a week around the British MotoGP and said he wanted to get back to Northallerton, so the Golden Lion Hotel (DL7 8PP) at 8pm it is. Doors open at 7.15pm.

The NYRRSC holds events to help fund racers from the area and is incredibly grateful for Colin's support over the years which dates back to his Castrol Honda World Superbike days. This will be his first visit since he retired from racing but motorcycles are still keeping him very busy; testing Michelin tyres on the M1 Yamaha, running his "boot camp" back in Texas and TV work for Moto America and BT Sport. Entry is £9.00 (£7.00 members)

Then on Wednesday, September 9th, celebrating 30 years since his 250 and 500 Grand Prix Championship double (as well as three decades of the North Yorkshire Road Racing Supporters Club) the guest is Fast Freddie Spencer. Appearing with his Championship double bikes Freddie will be looking back on his glittering career with guest interviewer Larry Carter. Venue is The Golden Lion Hotel, Northallerton and doors open at 7.15pm for an 8.00pm start. Entry is £12.00 (£9.00 members). Tickets on the door only for both events.
