Podium delight for Josh Daley in Cadwell Park Supersport

Josh Daley had a fantastic weekend at Cadwell Park this weekend and secured his first Motorpoint British Supersport Evo podium of the season with a great third place in the second race on Sunday in front of a huge crowd. He also gained a strong seventh place in the opening race on Saturday.

Josh once again came to Cadwell Park looking to improve on his times from previous seasons at Cadwell and he managed to do that in every session. He worked hard to get a good set-up throughout the weekend and he was able to set comfortably quick lap times. For the opening race he started from 18th on the grid he got a good start and was 8th Evo after lap one. He worked hard and was dicing for position taking a good 7th place at the chequered flag.

Josh started in 17th place for race two, alongside current Evo Championship leader Joe Collier. He got another good start and was up to sixth after lap one; he was soon fighting hard and putting in some consistently fast lap times. He was looking strong throughout the race and a couple of riders made mistakes and crashed out Josh took his first podium of the season in the British Supersport Evo class with third.

Josh Daley - "I had a great weekend at Cadwell Park this weekend, it all started with a good free practice one and we just kept chipping away all weekend. I ended the weekend with my first podium in this class this year and I'm over the moon with it.
