Record Breaking Manx Grand Prix

Malachi Mitchell-Thomas proudly held the Senior Manx Grand Prix Trophy aloft on the top step of the podium after taking the chequered flag and becoming the 79th winner of the 'blue-riband' event of the Manx Grand Prix -not only winning the race at a new record race speed of 120.138mph, but also setting a new absolute lap record for the 'Manx' at 122.221mph (18m 31.331s).

Malachi's race victory along with second place in the Junior Manx Grand Prix puts him in 55th position and his first entry in the Duke Road Race Rankings Series 2015.

Manxman Billy Redmayne won the Junior Manx Grand Prix by 1.893 seconds from Mitchell-Thomas after a race long battle from flag to flag, his win moves him up from 46th to 30th, up 16.

Rob Hodson took the SuperTwin honours plus second place in the Senior Manx, which improves his rankings from 163rd to 33rd a massive climb of 130 rungs!

Ramsey rider Andrew Dudgeon received three coveted replicas for fourth in the Junior; second in the SuperTwin and third in the Senior advancing him from 80th to 25th.

Lightweight Manx Grand Prix winner was newcomer Mark Purslow, who was out of luck in the Newcomers Race, pulling out with machine problems, he slots into 116th spot, with yet another 'Manxie' Peter Wilkinson taking the winners laurels in the Newcomers A race fitting into 117th place.
