Built to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Trans Am series, the 2026 Shelby GT350/TA brings that rich history into the modern era. Developed by Shelby American in collaboration with Turn Key Motorsports, the street-legal yet track-focused model incorporates components and technology developed for Shelby’s forthcoming Trans Am competition car. Production is limited to a mere 40 examples worldwide, each being documented in the official Shelby Registry.
Power comes from a supercharged version of Ford’s 5.0-liter V-8, producing an officially stated 830-plus horsepower on 93-octane fuel. Unlike the standard GT350, the GT350/TA is available exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission, reinforcing its driver-focused character. Supporting that tremendous output are fully adjustable Trans Am-specification coil-overs with remote reservoirs, Alcon endurance brakes, Forgeline racing wheels, heavy-duty half shafts, upgraded chassis components, additional cooling, and a Truetrac limited-slip differential.
