Round 8: Diamond Cambrian Rally, 17 October
North Wales crew Luke Francis and John H Roberts scored maximum championship points for the second time this season on the Cambrian Rally, which featured an excellent entry of 165 crews.
Luke Francis got stuck on Stage 2 but recovered, recording his second fastest time of the day on the infamous Great Orme. Another North Wales crew, Hugh Hunter and Andy Marchbank, returned to the championship in a Fiesta R5 and finished second among the championship crews.
Ceen’s third place finish meant Andy Bull was declared co-drivers’ champion. Lampeter’s Dylan Davies with Llion Williams finished fourth, which promoted them to second in the championship standings after a consistent season in their Subaru Impreza.
