● Coveted 964 Model 3.6 Liter Turbo Engine● Recent Full Maintenance w/ Books and Records● Fully Documented w/ Certificate of Authenticity
The Model: From its inception, the Porsche 911 was a timeless machine and despite under-going a large number of changes remains today as a tribute to perfection in performance and design. In 1990, the 964 series of the 911 was brought to market with the reintroduction of the Turbo. Starting in 1992, the larger 3.6L Turbocharged edition went on sale and Porsche owners now had a formidable machine. The all alloy engine featured double-chain drive SOHC, eight main bearings on the crank, 11.3:1 compression ratio, and in addition to the turbo was equipped with electronic fuel injection. If making the car go faster wasn’t enough, it was also easier and more predictable to drive at high speeds than ever before. Porsche claimed that a top speed of 174 MPH could be achieved. It was simply the greatest Porsche produced to date and remains an icon of 1990’s performance.
The Car: This stunning example has been treated like a baby during its less than 27,000 mile life. Less than 200 miles ago it was given a complete engine servicing by a marque specialist and is reported to be in top shape both mechanically and cosmetically. It was given a sympathetic restoration a couple of years ago where it received a high level respray in its original red, and the car itself looks showroom fresh inside and out. It is well appointed with all the basic amenities including ice-cold air-conditioning. Everything Is right about this car, that is according to AutoChek which shows no incidents in its history. From the immediately recognizable “whale tail” rear wing to those distinctive alloy wheels which show off the red brake calipers, this is one machine that is ready to provide unlimited exhilaration with dependable performance. There is little more to do with this car than to bid on it, own it and drive it like it was meant to be driven.
1968 PORSCHE 911L
Designer: Ferdinand ‘Butzi’ Porsche Erwin Komenda
Estimate: $135,000 - $155,000
Chassis Number: 11805378Decoded: 11=Porsche 911; 8=1968 Year of Production; 0=911L Coupe Body; 5378=SerialNumberEngine: 1991 CC Air-Cooled Flat-Six Engine130 bhp4-Speed Manual TransmissionFour Wheel Disk Brakes with Ventilated Front RotorsMileage: 27,184 Believed Actual• 1 of Only 449 Single-Year 911Ls• Unrestored Survivor• Original Fuchs Wheels, Elephant Hide Doors and Fitted Luggage
The Model: Ferdinand ‘Butzi’ Porsche sketched the concept of a larger replacement for the legendary 356 in 1959. First shown in 1963, the new 911 chassis developed in parallel with the new 901 engine, an air cooled flat-six with a 1,991cc displacement. Although production began in 1964, the first ‘big’ Porsches weren’t available in the United States until early 1965. The 911 received a number of developments quickly as the 901 engine, the brakes and suspension components rapidly improved. The 911S of 1966 received the most powerful engine and braking system, but this model was not available in the US market until 1969. The 911L appeared for the 1968 model year only with better comfort and trim levels the base model. The 911L received an uprated 130 bhp engine and the brake upgrades of the ‘S’ model, making it the top specification car in the US market for 1968. The combination of uprated performance and higher overall specification has made the short-production 911L a rare and sought after Porsche.
The Car: This rare 911 is one of only 449 911Ls produced. More amazing still is that it is an incredibly well-optioned survivor. It was resprayed in its original white three years ago, but has never been restored. The incredible condition inside and out supports the belief that the low mileage is genuine. It retains its original black and red plaid interior, rare ‘Elephant Hide’ doors and impossible to find Deluxe carpeting. This 911L also has factory fitted luggage and its original Fuchs wheels. All original books and tools are included as are a file of receipts for the paint and recent mechanical overhaul. What a remarkable chance to secure not only a rare 911L, but one in this condition with so many desirable options. This is a superb early 911 and incredible investment opportunity.
1987 PORSCHE 911 M491 FACTORY WIDE BODYDesigner: Ferdinand "Butzi" Porsche Harm LagaayEstimate: $75,000 - $95,000Chassis Number: WP0EB0910HS172198Decoded: W=Germany; P0=Porsche Sports Car; E=911 Cabriolet; B=3.2L Engine; 0=Seatbelts, No Airbags; 91=911; 0=Check Digit; H=1987 Model Year; S=Stuttgart; Germany Assembly; 172198=Serial NumberAssembly; 172198=Serial NumberEngine: 3.2 Liter Air-Cooled Flat-Six Engine217 bhpFive-Speed Manual Transmission Power-Assisted Four-Wheel Ventilated Disk Brakes Mileage: 58,758 Actual• Ultra-Rare M491 Factory Wide Body Package • Exceptional Top Preserved Condition Throughout• Only one of 180 M491 Cabriolets
The Model: What began as a uncomplicated replacement for the legendary 356 in 1964 grew into a legendary family of sportscars with each generation more complex and capable than the last. By the early 1980s, the turbocharged 930 variant was the top of the lineup worldwide. Emissions regulations prevented the turbo Porsche from being sold in the US. In 1984, Porsche introduced the M491 option, commonly known as the "Turbolook". The M491 shared the 930 Turbo’s wide wheel arches, wide wheels and the "tea tray" spoiler. Underneath, the M491s gained the improved turbo suspension and braking system. The handling of these cars was fantastic. With the 930 turbo unavailable, US enthusiasm for the M491 package was strong, but the over $12,500 premium has made the M491 Porsche 911s a rare and sought after commodity today.
The Car: This exceptional factory widebody 911 is in incredible preservation condition and represents one of only 180 cabriolets with the M491 “Turbolook” option. The paint and interior are exceptional. The records and service history included with this car are comprehensive, documenting not only the mileage, but the lavish care this vehicle has received. It includes all original tools and books plus the build sheet and window sticker. This 911 has never been damaged, resprayed, or taken apart. The black paint, black convertible top and black and grey leather interior are in outstanding condition. In addition to the flared fenders, wide wheels, ‘tea tray’ spoiler and suspension and brake upgrades that are part of the M491 package, this fabulous car also includes a tonneau cover. This 911 has been religiously maintained and all service is fully up to date. The opportunity to find such a welldocumented ultrarare M491 cabriolet in this condition is unlikely to come again.

The Model: Ferry Porsche conceived the 356 with the idea that a lightweight car with enough power would deliver superior performance and driving experience. A class win at LeMans and a reputation for performance and quality ensured that the 356 was a success. The 356 underwent evolutionary changes to improve usability, power and handling that culminated in the outstanding 356C that offered four-wheel disk brakes and the 75 bhp engine as standard equipment. The added power paired with brilliant handling and stopping power offered a brilliant and uniquely Porsche driving experience.
The Car: This car was purchased in 1969 from Glendale, California by the current owner with 55,000 miles. The new owner enjoyed the car for another 45,000 before subjecting it to a complete nut and bolt restoration right down to the proper lead loading bodywork by specialists, Jones Autowerks. Meticulously stored and maintained ever since, this 356C is in absolute top driver condition. The Porsche Certificate of authenticity confirms this car contains its original engine and transmission as well as the optional seat belts, luggage rack, antenna, floor mats and fog lights. The original color slate paintwork and red interior present beautifully. The owner has maintained an extensive history file documenting work completed. This is a rare and outstanding opportunity to collect such a fine 356C with documented history.
