Jean Todt to give Watkins Lecture

The 2016 Watkins LecturePresented by the Motorsport Safety Fund11.15am on 15 January 2016 at the NEC, Birmingham.

The Motorsport Safety Fund's Watkins Lecture is to be given by Jean Todt, President of the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). Jean had a notable career as a co-driver, before going on to work in motorsport management.

He successfully directed teams in the World Rally Championship, the Paris-Dakar Rally and in the Le Mans 24 Hours Race. He then moved on to Formula One, managing the Ferrari Team to win 14 World Championship titles (drivers and manufacturers). Jean will be in conversation with the BBC's James Allen.

The latest issue of the Fund's newsletter, The Marshal, is now available from www.motorsportsafetyfund.com. It contains details of two new, brief films: Stay safe (a guide for spectators) and First on the scene, which gives basic advice if you happen to be first on the scene of an accident, whether in motorsport or on the road.
