Team JD Motorsport has confirmed its presence in the 2016 Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS. The Italian team will field two cars but is working on a third.

After two full seasons, the team based in Vespolate (who joined the series in 2013), is ready to take up the challenge after coming twice third in the Driver Championship, once with the Russian Matevos Isaakyan, and this year with the Brazilian Thiago Vivacqua, who both fought till the end for the overall win.

Looking towards the upcoming season, JD Motorsport has already undergone several test sessions with another due at the beginning of the upcoming week in Barcelona. The team will be back on track in early 2016.

The names of the drivers that will race for the team lead by Roberto Cavallari will be announced shortly.
