Mighty Minis Racing Championship joins BARC portfolio

The British Automobile Racing Club Limited are pleased to announce the news that they will be organising and administering the extremely exciting and competitive Mighty Minis Racing Championship for 2016.The ever-popular Mighty Minis will be visiting new and exciting venues for the first time as the BARC takes them through 2016 and beyond. The well-supported championship remains open to anybody looking to start circuit racing at an affordable level, with the tight regulations meaning all entrants must compete in identical vehicles.Championship Co-ordinator, Rodger Tello said of the move: “I am certainly looking forward to working with the BARC as it will pose new challenges for me and I do feel that they are in a positon to offer the best package for all of the Mighty Minis drivers for 2016 and beyond.”“We are extremely pleased to have the Mighty Minis on-board”, echoed BARC Chief Operating Officer, Drew Furlong. “They are a great bunch of people, and although there is a friendly atmosphere in the paddock, they take their racing very seriously and once on-track there is some of the closest action I’ve ever seen. We’re really looking forward to working with Rodger and his team too.”Competitor Ryan Cowley’s car will be on the BARC stand at the Autosport Show in January.
