Let’s kick things off with the highly anticipated Sepang 12 Hours, the Clearwater Racing Ferrari 458 cleaned up at the last two events, taking both wins and securing seasoned GT ace Weng Sun Mok’s status as the contest’s most successful ever driver. However, he better watch out as he’s got a large, eclectic grid of elite sportscar racers from a wide range of series ready to snatch victory this time around. Indeed, with one of the world’s greatest GT drivers – Laurens Vanthoor – returning to racing after a long absence from injury, you can be sure that this year’s edition will be a hotly contested one!
Next up we have some highly topical winter racing from the Pyrenees! That’s right, the Andros Trophy returns for the second round of the season as it slips and slides its way towards the tiny principality of Andorra in a couple of days’ time. Rallycross star Jean-Baptiste Dubourg dominated the first event in Val Thorens as ex-Grand Prix driver Olivier Panis and four-time Andros Trophy champion Jean-Philippe Dayraut were left trailing in his snowy wake. Nevertheless, with a mere four points separating the top four in the championship standings you can expect copious amounts of fevered, icy slicing and dicing this time around!
Your dose of two-wheeled madness will be well catered for, too, as the daredevils contesting the SX Tour - France’s national Supercross championship – converge in Montpellier this weekend. The indoor stadium showdown is the stage for the final fun-filled outing of the season, so you can expect nothing but close racing and sky-scraping jumps from gates to flag. Tune in to our live coverage and watch the finest dirt bike riders around strut their stuff in style!
More motorcycling action is coming your way with highlights of the 2016 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship’s first round in Lodz, Poland, which took to the stage last weekend. US rider Cody Webb and Britain’s Jonny Walker treated the Atlas Arena’s crowd to a tantalisingly close curtain raiser, with both competitors trading blows throughout the entire event. The duel certainly delivered the best of healthy Anglo-American competition, but which one left the venue on top of the Prestige standings? Guess what you need to do next!If all that doesn’t get your inner petrolhead redlining we also have some more ice-based thrashing for you with coverage from the insane Icelandic Formula Off Road series, along with even more motorcycling shenanigans courtesy of the International Dirt Bike Show!
