MSA invites tenders for 2016 British Kart Championships engine and tyre supplies

The Motor Sports Association (MSA) can confirm that it intends to trial a re-launch of the MSA British Junior and MSA British Kart Championships (non-gearbox) in 2016.

There are plans for three rounds, with the first unlikely to be held before the end of May 2016. If the MSA considers the trial to be successful then those championships may continue in 2017 and 2018, in parallel with the CIK-FIA engine homologation period.

The MSA stipulates that the MSA British Junior and MSA British Kart Championships must use engines and tyres with a current CIK-FIA homologation. Therefore tenders are invited from engine and tyre manufacturers, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the tender documents which are now available on the MSA website:
