WORKINGTON’S line-up for 2016 is complete with the news that Ty Proctor will return to British racing with the Comets.Proctor, whose most recent spell in the UK was with Sheffield, secured his visa by winning his third Victorian State title a fortnight ago, and then opened talks with the Derwent Park club.Manager Tony Jackson said: “I feel that the signing of Ty could well turn out to be one of our most significant. He is definitely on a falsely-low average in my opinion and, from talking to him he is very determined to get back to where he was a couple of years ago, which can only be good news for us.“The signing of Ty gives us four riders that have stated that they will be pushing to be number one next season and with Adam Roynon also keen to get back up the averages, plus the improvement that will surely come from Mason Campton and Matt Williamson, I feel that we have plenty of potential in our side to challenge for silverware.”(SPEEDWAY 2)
