KING’S Lynn will open the 2016 season with a challenge match against Polish club Wroclaw at the Adrian Flux Arena.The meeting will take place on Friday March 18 and will be the second time the Stars have hosted the International Pre-Season Cup, with the Extraliga runners-up set to include World Champion Tai Woffinden and fellow Grand Prix star Maciej Janowski.King’s Lynn promoter Keith Chapman said: “After hosting the first staging of the event, we are delighted Team Player Management Company are bringing it back to us in March. Wroclaw’s side is a very good one and with both Tai and Maciej in their side, I’m expecting a large turnout. “The Polish fans that travelled over created a fantastic atmosphere in the stadium and I am sure we will see an equally as good turnout. It will be our first competitive meeting of the year so we will want to start it on the right foot and open with a victory.”

SAM Masters remains optimistic of keeping his Australian Championship dreams alive in the final round of the series on Sunday.Wolves and Edinburgh man Masters trails new leader Brady Kurtz by three points after the Poole newcomer won round three in Gillman.
