THE Young Lions Management are delighted to announce two major companies are to join the already-impressive list of sponsors for the British Youth Championship in 2016.Meridian Lifts and Rentruck of Rochdale are two companies who are already well-established in the speedway fraternity, and GB Youth Boss Neil Vatcher has expressed his delight in adding such well-known names to be supporters of the series.Vatcher said: “Having both Meridian Lifts and Rentruck added to our backers can only add to the profile of the Championship, and I believe this shows how hard we are all working together to produce some young British talent.“Both Mr Andrew Tomlin of Meridian Lifts and Mr Richard Cotton of Rentruck have seen the good work that has been achieved over the last few years, and both companies are now keen on been associated with the Youth Championship.“2016 is looking to be a busy and exciting year ahead, and now with Meridian and Rentruck on board along with all our sponsors from 2015, we will be looking at getting even more track time, with the hope of organising more training days, which can only be beneficial to the riders’ careers.”The full list of 2016 sponsors is: Mitas Tyres, Wessex Marine, Nuneaton Speedway Supporters Club, PBHS of Barnsley, Friends of Speedway, Meridian Lifts, Rentruck of Rochdale, Duck Smart Cleaning Products, Trend Creative and Kandysoft Solutions. KENT have announced plans for a busy schedule of racing at Central Park prior to the start of their official National League campaign.The Kings are set to face rivals Eastbourne and King’s Lynn over Easter and will also stage the Invicta Pairs and a junior meeting, plus a club night, as well as the British Under-21 semi-final before their team moves into league and trophy action in May.Manager Chris Hunt said: “I can’t over-emphasise how vitally important it is to get in as much track and racing time as possible prior to the actual, serious business of league racing so this programme of events is vital for us. “We know that fans at Central Park really support all events and these ones are absolutely crucial for the development of our side as well as representing some excellent entertainment.”
