BHRC and Mintex partnership continues in 2016

Mintex will continue as title sponsor for the MSA British Historic Rally Championship in 2016 after confirming renewed support for Britain’s leading rally championship for historic cars.The Roger Albert Clark Rally Motor Club is promoting the MSA BHRC under a five-year contract and 2016 will be the second year of that agreement. The calendar covers six gravel and two asphalt rallies, with a double-header on the Isle of Man in September to make nine rounds.Mintex branding will feature on all competing cars and will be incorporated into the championship’s exciting new TV package. The team at Special Stage will film all eight events and produce hour-long programmes to give the BHRC some of the best TV exposure in British rallying.Lawrence Bleasdale from Mintex said: “I’m very pleased to confirm our on-going partnership with the BHRC. We will be celebrating our heritage by supporting the championship and 2016 is all set to be another very well-supported and highly competitive season.” Championship manager Colin Heppenstall said: “Mintex is a great brand and is a perfect fit for the BHRC. Our first season together went extremely well and we’re delighted to welcome Mintex back for 2016.
