BUXTON have completed their line-up for 2016 with the signing of Lee Geary. The Somerset asset is achieving his aim of securing a team place in the National League, and Hitmen boss Jason Pipe believes the extensive racing experience of the 32-year-old will pay dividends.Pipe said: “With bringing in Ryan Burton as a newcomer, I really had to try and bring in someone else at reserve who would be more experienced and hopefully take a little pressure off him. I’ve looked at many 3.00 riders, but weighing up all the options, I always came back to Lee Geary. “Lee has some very good reliable equipment and has invested heavily this winter to make a real go of it in 2016. He may not have done much NL racing over the years, but he certainly has the experience of riding most, if not all, of the NL tracks, when he has been riding MDL, open meetings or practice days or the odd NL guest booking.
