KING’S Lynn have named club asset Simon Lambert in a reserve berth for the coming Elite League season.Lambert will team up with Lewis Rose, leaving the Stars with one spot remaining in their side – although no timescale has been given on that issue.Manager Rob Lyon said: “Simon is a good option for us. He knows the track at the Adrian Flux Arena well, and that will be a huge benefit when the tapes go up in March.“The bedding-in period will be minimum because of his involvement with the club before and after his finish last season. We are expecting him to hit the ground running.“We are looking at riders with the last position in mind. I will be honest and say that the search has been problematic and one that has caused us a few issues. We want to do what is best for the club, and if that means waiting a little longer then that’s what we’ll have to do.”
