BSPA Vice-Chairman Rob Godfrey has urged supporters to take advantage of the chance to have their say at the upcoming Fans Forum event.Only 50 spaces remain as promoters prepare to meet with fans at the BENN Hall in Rugby on Sunday, February 21 (1pm).Those wishing to register for the free event should email fansforum@speedwaygb.co as soon as possible in order to secure their place, with capacity limited to 300 spaces. Godfrey is expecting an honest, frank discussion regarding numerous issues – and he says fans should ensure they come along for an afternoon which he believes will benefit the sport. “We’ve got limited space, so with 50 places left we’d love to get them filled and make sure as many people as possible are in attendance,” said Godfrey. “If you want to come and talk to us then this is the best opportunity there has ever been, so we hope lots of people take advantage of that.“People are free to come at us from any angle and talk about anything they wish. It’s going to be a totally open discussion in a way which we haven’t done before.“We should get to hear lots of different views and opinions. It will benefit both the supporters and the promoters who are there, so we are very much looking forward to it.” VENUE ADDRESS : The BENN Hall, Newbold Road, Rugby CV21 2LN

SWINDON have moved quickly to snap up Rohan Tungate to fill the void left by Dakota North ahead of the 2016 campaign. The Ipswich asset, who gained Elite League experience with Poole in 2013, comes under the recommendation of former World Champion Jason Crump.Robins boss Alun Rossiter said: “Rohan was in my plans at the start of the year, he was somebody he looked at closely but we decided to go a different way because we had a few more points to play with.“We spoke two or three times over the winter and he was always somebody in the back of my mind, so when we knew Dak wouldn’t be coming I knew he was who I wanted to speak to. “I think he’s shown in the winter that’s he’s kicked on, and I think he needs to now take that next step up and we hope he can do that.
