Looking ahead to the season Li said, “I’m really pleased to be back at Carlin, it’s a great opportunity for me to build on my first season and aim for strong results in my second year of the FIA Formula Three European Championship. I’m sure that as ever, there will be a lot to learn over the season but I’m pleased to be learning from one of the most experienced teams in Formula Three and looking forward to the upcoming year.”

Racing director Trevor Carlin added, “We’re delighted to welcome Peter back to the team for a season in the FIA Formula Three European Championship; Peter knows the team well and we’re pleased to have him back on board. We know from previous seasons together that he is a hard working driver and we’re looking forward to continuing that relationship over the course of his season.”

The first race of the season will get underway in April however Li will be behind the wheel of his Carlin Volkswagen Dallara F312 during official testing in Vallelunga, Italy early next month.
