SCUNTHORPE are set to recall Danish teenager Anders Lyager when Nicolai Klindt’s temporary spell with the club comes to an end.Klindt will race for the Scorpions in the opening weeks of the season having agreed a deal to replace the retired Taylor Poole, but when his Polish commitments kick in Lyager should be accommodated in the line-up when fellow assessed-average rider Zdenek Holub achieves a true figure.Promoter Rob Godfrey said: “Andreas begged us to ride last season, so we gave him a go, and he showed he had what it takes.“He went in at number three, which is a tough number to ride at, and he beat some quality riders. Despite coming in at a late stage of the season, which is never easy to do, he scored six, five and four from his three home meetings around the Eddie Wright Raceway.“Andreas has built two new bikes and he is grateful and committed to come and do a good job for us.”
