Date switch between Barcelona and Jerez

GT Sport has confirmed the 2016 calendars of its two series, the International GT Open and the Euroformula Open. With respect to the calendars previously announced, there is only one minor change: the Barcelona and Jerez events at the end of the season switch their dates, for operational reasons.

The Jerez event (where only the Euroformula Open will be in action), is now scheduled on 29-30 October, with the Barcelona (the closing round for both the Euroformula and the GT Open) taking place on 5-6 November.

Obviously, the change also applies to the partnering series: the Formula V8 3.5 in both instances, the SEAT León Eurocup (Barcelona) and the Radical European Masters (Jerez).

The definitive 2016 GT Sport calendar is as follows:

23-24 April : Estoril (P)

21-22 May: Spa-Francorchamps (B)

4-5 June: Circuit Paul Ricard (F)

23-24 July: Silverstone (GB)

10-11 September: Red Bull Ring (A)

1-2 October: Monza (I)

29-30 October: Jerez (E) *only Euroformula

5-6 November: Barcelona-Catalunya (E)
