Round 1: Great Western Sprint, 19 March

Terry Holmes took opening round victory after a masterful performance at Castle Combe Circuit.

Steve Broughton and Matt Hillam pursued but the shared driving pair couldn’t catch Holmes, finishing in second and third respectively.

Steve Miles captured fourth place, but thought more time was available. Graham Porrett snatched a disappointing fifth after an “off” earlier in the event.
