Round 2: Foxley Autotest, 3 AprilDave Mosey took his Mini to a convincing win on a bright and sunny day on the Foxley Estate near Hereford.

The event was marked by the number of penalties collected by the leading competitors, which saw the top five places change several times during the day. The early leader was Dave Evans in his Blitz Special, closely followed by Mosey, with Alastair Moffatt and Paul Fobister next in order.

Dave Mosey’s Mini took the lead at lunchtime, now with Moffatt and Evans in close attention, and John Moffatt, Malcolm Livingston, and Fobister following up. Paul Fobister then took a maximum penalty, and John Moffatt retired with a blown engine, leaving Mosey in a clear lead over Alastair Moffatt, Evans, and Livingston.

The final round of tests saw Dave Mosey, now in trouble with steering issues, maintain his lead, with an incredible finish for Moffatt, Livingston and Evans, the latter two separated by just two tenths of a second.
