Round 1: Pikes Peak, Myherin, 9-10 April

Justin Birchall got his season off to a fine start with a win in the opening round at Pikes Peak. Despite a broken propshaft on day two, Birchall held the lead throughout the event.

“I’m very happy with the result,” said Birchall. “It was a fantastic course and the very changeable weather, with snow one minute and bright sun the next, gave us all an extra challenge."

Ben Duckworth moved into second after Ryan Cooke had car problems and Colin Gould finished third in his first event in his Clio V8.
