The Pirelli World Challenge Grand Prix of Lime Rock Presented by Bentley is Lime Rock's big, traditional Memorial Day Weekend season-opener, May 27-29. The support series is the terrific new Formula 4 U.S. Championship Powered by Honda (plus Sunday’s 7th Annual Royals’ Garage Car Show, this year to benefit Lakeville Hose Co.).

SCCA Pro Racing schedule details of the main race day, Saturday the 28th. (There’s lots of on-track action on Friday the 27th, too!)

Saturday, things start right at 9:00 a.m. with 30-minute warm-up sessions for PWC GTS, Formula 4 U.S., then PWC GT/GTA/GT Cup. By 11:00 a.m., the Car Corral laps start, followed 20 minutes later with the 1-hour PWC GTS race two. That’s followed immediately by race two of the F4 U.S, championship (green flag at 1:15 p.m.).

Then everyone should head up to the Pirelli World Challenge Driver Autograph session on the Midway, which starts at 1:45.

We then open the pits and track to the fans at 2:45 for the pre-race Grid Walk – get right up to the cars and drivers as they’re getting ready for the race!

We then clear the grid for the start of the main event, race number two for Pirelli World Challenge GT/GTA/GT Cup, at 3:15.

But Wait There’s More... a third F4 U.S. race starts at 4:30!

The whole day we have the fun, active Midway, raffles to win Hot Laps, the paddocks are free to enter, and for excellent food and drink, we’ve got two concessions stands, plus the Paddock Café. Of course, the ever-popular Harpoon Tavern is on the Infield Spectator Hillside overlooking almost half the track.

A reminder to Lime Rock “rookies”: Everyone 16 and under gets free General Admission (with accompanying adult), Armed Forces active and veterans are also free, along with their immediate family, and parking is free.
