THE 9th EDITION
After the unanimous success on the 8th edition of the AFRICA ECO RACE the organizing team was quickly back to work to prepare the 2017 edition. Just 10 days after finish of the 2016 event enquiries for the next edition came right away and some have already pre-registered! No doAfrica Eco Race gears up for 2017ubt about it, the AFRICA ECO RACE has become the Great African Rally and is the ONLY International cross country race which runs through several countries to reach Dakar.

Those who know the AFRICA ECO RACE will tell you: "The AFRICA ECO RACE is a true return to original cross country rallies values where navigation, open spaces, sand and friendliness are the most important! That makes all the difference! ". The course prepared by professionals and experienced drivers features 12 stages and one rest day through Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal, 6 500 kms in total:
• One loop if not two • A precise road book • As little liaisons as possible and as many starts and finishes of Selective Sections directly at the bivouac • Bivouacs in the countryside with all the facilities • Sporting regulations adapted to give everyone a chance to reach the Lac Rose in Senegal
THE RAID BY AFRICA ECO RACE
An excellent alternative to competition for lovers of cross country motorbike, quad, car or truck (stock or prepared). The “raiders" will learn or hone their skills in navigation, crossing and reading the road books. They will also be watching the competitors while racing at specifically selected locations, while enjoying the beautiful scenery that only Africa can offer. Friendliness, authenticity, human and sporting values will be widely highlighted on a course where sensations and discoveries are a priority.
Driving at their own pace, without a chronometer, the purpose of RAID is to allow everyone to go after their own adventure, discovering other countries in a unique atmosphere.
