More than 250 historic and vintage race cars have arrived at Road Atlanta for this weekend's 39th running of The Classic Motorsports Mitty presented by Hagerty, April 21 - 24.

A premier event on the annual Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) calendar, The Mitty features non-stop HSR practice, qualifying, WeatherTech Sprint Races, BRM Chronographes Enduros and the Bob Woodman Tires International American Challenge all weekend on the legendary Road Atlanta road course.

Ford is this year's featured marque and dozens of different historic and vintage race cars representative of the blue oval's illustrious competition history are on hand at Road Atlanta. All will be welcome to participate in a marque-exclusive race for all Fords or Ford-powered race cars.

The Ford Feature Race is scheduled to start at Noon EDT on Sunday, April 24.

This year's other feature race showcases the mighty Can-Am machines on the 50th Anniversary of the first season of competition for the unlimited and now legendary racing series. A Can-Am event was the first race ever held at Road Atlanta in 1970, and everything from McLarens to Lolas and Shadows to the 1969 Alan Mann Ford Can-Am are expected to return this weekend.

The Can-Am Feature Race is scheduled to start at 1:15 p.m. EDT on Saturday, April 23.

The Mitty weekend Grand Marshal is Al Unser Jr., the two-time Indianapolis 500 winner who was also a Can-Am Champion before starting his title-winning IndyCar racing career.

In addition to today's Test Day and three full days of HSR racing, the annual Speedfest at The Classic Motorsports Mitty will keep the off-track action and activity at full speed. The Speedfest schedule includes the Skid Pad Challenge, autograph sessions, live music, cars of the world club corrals, a vendor area and swap meet, touring and parade laps and the always popular Concours d'Lemons.

Tickets for The Classic Motorsports Mitty presented by Hagerty are available at the gate at the main Road Atlanta entrance or at the Will Call windows at HSR Registration on the outside of the track.
